Using skeleton leaves in your projects

Guest post by Joy Hellman – Design Team Member

Joy is part of the Design Team and has the great video using the skeleton leaves and embossing powders. Enjoy.

I can’t wait to see what she does next with the skeleton leaves.

You can find the products below.

Skeleton leaves  (these come in lots of colors)

Heat gun

Embossing pad and powders (Joy used a brand I don’t carry, but they are all pretty comparable to each other)

I had never thought of embossing skeleton leaves. I like the effect this gave the leaves. Would have like to see how you used them for the angel wings and the finished angel. Can see using them for fairy wings, dragonfly wings, or any other creature (real or fantasy) with transparent wings. Thanks for sharing, Joy!

Lynn embossing the leaf makes it stronger and can be used not only as a leaf but cut into shapes can you the possibility of tree ornaments?
