Yay! A Giveaway!

18 Oct

Thanks to Fox Chapel Publishing, I have a Copy of The Beauty of Zentangle® by Suzanne McNeill, czt and Cindy Shepard, czt  to giveaway on my Blog!!!! YAY!

The Beauty of Zentangle

The Beauty of Zentangle

What I love about this book is the variety of Zentangle Inspired Art that has been submitted by CZTs (certified Zentangle teachers) and others from around the world. There is an amazing variety of art work from 137 different tangle artists.  You will see everything from traditional Zentangle art with black/white tiles to watercolor art to jewelry art to fabric art to furniture (there is a fabulous tangled piano that makes me quite happy). It is truly inspiring to look at the art work that has been created using the Zentangle process.

What I don’t like about the book is that I am not in it. 😦  I was asked to submit artwork, and I fully intended to submit some of my art, yet the deadline came and went and I missed it. Very sad indeed. Perhaps next time I will pay closer attention to the dates.

Nonetheless, it is a fabulous book and I know you will be inspired by it. So, I do have one book to give away to one lucky blog commenter. To be eligible to win the book, you must leave a comment below about why you deserve to win this book. If you share it on Facebook or Twitter let me know and you can earn an extra entry in the drawing. I will draw the winner on Oct 25th.

If you are interested in taking a Zentangle class, I would be happy to discuss it with you. I have some classes listed on the website. However, I am more than happy to schedule a private class or a group class with you and your friends/family. I know it is fun to do with people you know.

You can also find official Zentangle products by visiting this link. For more information about Zentangle, and Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, you can visit zentangle.com.

Remember to leave a comment below and share everywhere!!!!!

Zentangle is a wonderful meditative art form. This book is a lot of fun, however I do recommend taking a class from a CZT if at all possible.

I would love to have this book. I have had my eye on it ever since the moment I saw it. Eventually I will probably buy it – unless I am lucky enough to win it, but right now life’s little financial surprises would make this an even more awesome win.

I never knew about Zentangling before I learned about it on your site. I plan on decorating a piggy bank for my little granddaughters with as many zentangles as I can. I will enjoy it, and hopefully, they will love it.

Thanks for doing the giveaway, Deb. As an American living in Ukraine I can’t take a CZT class, but I have learned some of this anyway. I teach and do art in Ukraine and this would be a wonderful addition for my Sunday school kids. Shared it on my FB timeline and my art page: vintageterrace2 on FB also.

Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome book. I’ve admired Zentangle art from ‘afar’ and have been very curious about it. Well! I visited the new storefront this afternoon and saw some pieces up close as well as what it takes supply-wise to create these beautiful flowing and often quirky designs. Piqued my interest even further – I plan to get enrolled i.n a class as soon as I make it through these 2013 holidays. Again, thanks for this opportunity and best wishes for the success of your new storefront.
